24/7 Taxi Cab Company is a taxi service operating in Davis, although their office is in Sacramento. Andrew Nnodim, in addition to being the owner, is one of the taxi drivers. The other is Cocoa Gale, who has noted how much she's enjoyed Davis, and even hopes to have her son transfer to UCD.
On Wednesdays through Saturdays from 7pm to 12am, the drivers are stationed in the Amtrak parking lot. At midnight, they begin to cruise the streets of downtown Davis in search of people who might want a ride. They do this for several hours, often into the morning or until they feel their services are no longer needed.

Accusations
Their start in Davis was fairly rough, violating some city ordinances. As Andrew became aware of the variations in the ordinances, he has avowed an effort to comply. Competing driver Josh Lawson notes that more than one person is investigating the legitimacy of the business, saying "You need to leave town, please do not come back, NO ONE wants your service here." In return Andrew (whose accent may indicate English is not his birth language) says, "i want you to know that i dont believe in them say and im not a woman who blow their mouth for nothing. im in davis to help,to serve, and save the life of davis's people, no one have any right to runs me off in davis city so josh get a life okey. 24/7 taxi cab company is not a cab company that abuse, molest, harass women in davis city like some other cab company in davis do. so josh stop segregating we are in 21 century and please grow up."
Andrew apparently honks at potential fares, which some feel is disturbing. The Daub noted in a conversation that, "after around the 6th time you honked at me and slowly drove past while creepily looking at me while I was in or around downtown was when my opinion changed." OliviaY noted that, "I too have been honked at. As a young female I feel very threatened by this even knowing it's a cab driver looking for a fare. I would never get into a cab that has honked at me."
Some view 24/7 as poachers, and some have even accused them of impersonating competing cab companies in order to steal fares. The drivers of 24/7 admit to cruising downtown late at night in search of people needing rides. They will offer rides to anybody who appears to be waiting and accept all as passengers, regardless of whether or not they had already called for another cab company. 24/7 justifies this behavior by stating that all local companies follow the same practice; they say they encourage the passengers to cancel their reservation with the other company so the competing drivers won't be wasting their time.
Hit and run accusation should go here, with witnesses: right now they are scattered

24/7 Taxi Cab Company is a taxi service operating in Davis. Their office is in Sacramento. They provide a smooth ride, your choice of music and claim that your driver will make each ride a memorable one. They claim to pride themselves on safety, reliability, cleanliness, courteousness and customer satisfaction. Judging by their name, they also seem to pride themselves on their hours of service. Some of their drivers have claimed to have been sent by other cab companies in town as they stop to see if you need a ride, which is not true at all and Andrew (owner) disapproves of. Due to a locals vs. outsiders attitude no other local cab company will send a 24/7 cab to pick you up while they will often use other locals.

Drivers
Among their drivers is Cocoa Gale, who notes "Thank you for your business and i look forward to seeing you again. I appreciate each and everyone of you! I was a little concerned when i first began driving taxi in Davis, as this is the first time i've ever drove taxi, but each customer i have given a ride has truly made me happy that i chose to drive this taxi in Davis. I love driving in Davis as i get to meet so many people from so many different places. I recommended to my son, that when he puts in for a transfer for his degree, to choose Davis University."
Another driver is owner Andrew Nnodim. Competing driver Josh Lawson says he heard via a Friendly Cab driver that Andrew, hit and ran down a Summit Security guard who reported it to the highway patrol. He also said that he was personally almost run over in spring of 2011 on G Street and was forced to punch his hood to get Andrew's attention.
Some view them as poachers, taking money directly out of the pockets of local cabs, some view them as scam artists and some just view them as another cab. Keep in mind they are not local, few, if any, of the funds they receive will filter back into the Davis community and their presence potentially hurts the local economy that much more. In all fairness, this is no different than any other business.

While some customers have claimed to have been treated less than fairly, others have claimed this to be a very good cab company. As with all other businesses, it is up to the people to decide for themselves.
* Any taxi driving any customer(s) from the city of Davis to any other city or town does not need any permits from those towns to drop customers.

2011-03-22 14:26:52 Why can't somebody help me to restore my business page to the original page that i created? I'm here in Davis community helping and saving lives of people. I'm not here to destroy or to disobey Davis' city ordinances. All i want is the progress and the security of this community so each one of us may have a better life, whether i live here or not. Thank you Wes-P for being a man of his word. I look forward to communicating with you in the near future to help this community to have a better life. If there is anything i may be able to do to help this community, please let me know. —andrewnnodim

2011-05-01 19:08:30 it is queit disappointed that the entire wiki.org have allowed lunatic people like josh to use wiki page as a book where they can tell lied, accused, slandered, and mocked against innocent people and they supported them with their lie instead of puting it to stop. i have accused, many time mocked, slandered, lied against, and most of removed my name from private taxi column in wiki page and no one said nothing. i thought that wiki page is a page where every body have right to express his or her honest truth, where every body have equal right. but the way i have been treated in wiki show me that they are discriminating abainst me because of my colour. josh stop spreading lie against me, i didnt hit any body and ran, but i if did it, i would have been looking by the police although, i dont have any explaintion to give you, but those of them that supports lie, mockry, slandering remember what goes around comes around. —andrewnnodim

Andrew, if you look into the talk page, Josh is basically getting asked to either provide proof or stop it with the baseless accusations. Nobody else wants him to use the wiki as a weapon either. I think you are completely unaware of the frustration that Josh has provoked for many, many people at this point. —Evan 'JabberWokky' Edwards, jw.dw@timewarp.org, (814) 889-8845
2011-05-02 08:22:20 A couple of years ago Andrew showed up to work in Davis by trolling in his Sacramento taxicab association cab. Andrew got the attention of the local companies, because they found out that he was picking up customers who had called and were waiting for a pickup downtown, by telling them that he was the cab that they had called. It appeared that he was working in Davis because he had his Sacramento City cab permit revoked. After he had stirred things up awhile, I heard from someone with that Sacramento taxicab association that they had dismissed him. After that Andrew removed the name of the association from his cab. Years before then a high bar had been set for inter-cab ethics, in particular by Max with Village Cab. Andrew definitely has lowered the standard for inter-cab ethics and we've also heard complaints from his customers. He has asked why doesn't someone help him with his "original" wiki page. I wonder why I should help him with that or refer customers to him. Over a week ago a Summit security guard told a local Friendly Cab driver at the Research Park Chevron that when he had nearby, just moments before, tried to talk to Andrew about his misbehavior, he pushed him with his cab and drove off. Last Friday night someone called Friendly Cab for a ride on Via Colonna Terrace in Mace Ranch in East Davis. It was unusual for Andrew to also show up for a cab call outside of downtown, but against taxi etiquette the customers had called more than one cab company. Also they didn't answer the cell phone they had called from for a cab. Andrew gave a vulgar hand sign to the driver as he took off with the passengers. That's pretty much the way we see him. —BruceHansen
2011-05-04 18:52:20 let me said it again.i am sick tired of lunatic people like bruce hanson and his group slandering, accusing, and mucking at me on the line. bruce and company, i am not a trouble maker, you guys have been pushing me too hard since two years now. but now enough is enough, i wont take it any more. this is last time i will comment about it. any time i see slandering, accusing and mocking words from you against me in the wiki page i will take legal action. please stop discriminating against me because of my color in the davis city. i have every right to work any where in this country since i meet up the requirement of the city. —andrewnnodim

Pulling the race card...that is so pathetic. We dislike your "business" practices. I have asked you to provide information about your legitimacy and you have not answered any of my questions..it just makes you look more and more guilty. To everyone that thinks all this permit stuff is "public access" and "I should look it up", I can't, because our "National Security" protects "privacy"....so once again, I ask for your documentation, citizenship and permit records.... —JoshLawson

Like I commented to Cocoa, please provide me with one single item that I have said that is untrue. Thank you. (Not holding my breath.) —BruceHansen
2011-09-02 03:51:46 Excuse me, Andrew. I know you're Andrew. Don't you know you're Andrew? The other night a customer at Little Prague asked if you were Dan, whom he'd called. You said you were Dan. That was wrong. —Art
2012-04-12 12:11:28 I know that this company has never broken any laws regarding its driving and it disturbs me to know that people can just put things online that are unsubstantiated and untrue...It's a shame! —americka
