Acción Zapatista

Accion Zapatista is a Zapatista group that aims to foster dialogue about Zapatismo within the Davis community. They held their first meeting in Olson Hall on 2007-03-08. They aim to organize themselves, both in solidarity with the indigenous Zapatistas and for our own community here in California. They are organized by grad students Magali Rabasa and Silvia Soto. Other Zapatista groups in California include several collective in the Bay Area as well as in southern California. Accion Zapatista Davis regularly organizes workshops at the Davis People's Free School.
