Alder Hall is the western-most unit of the three-building UC Davis residence hall complex known as Segundo North. Built in 2003, Segundo North is located in the northwest quadrant of campus. In 2004, Alder 2 became home to the African-African American Academic Theme Program, a distinction it still holds. The building houses approximately 180 students with 20 triple occupancy rooms on floor three and four. A2 has become 2 to a room. (212 is the smallest room, watch out for that room. if you get it, don't bring a lot of things because the storage space is limited since it's a weirdly shaped room. Rooms are grouped in clusters of four with a shared bathroom.
