Ben Smith is the former campus coordinator for CalPIRG. He lived the Sunwise Co-op. He was a champion runner with golden locks, although on occasion he cut those locks. Over winter break 2005 he was promoted to a state-wide CalPIRG coordinator, which also includes Reno. However, he will mostly be focusing on organizing the Los Angeles-area community colleges, thus he now resides in Los Angeles.
