How does it work?

What do we pay for clothing?
We offer 25% in store credit or 12.5% in cash - of the price we might be able to sell the item for. We resell most items for $6 - $12, so you will receive on average from $1.50 to $3 each in store credit or $.75 to $1.50 in cash.

We pay extra for some premium labels, vintage and highly unique items. Conversely, we discount items from lower-end brands (ie: Forever 21, Target, Charlotte Russe, etc.).

You do not have to wait for the items to sell, you receive cash or store credit for the items. You have a year to use the store credit.

Trade-in hours: everyday (except Sundays) 11:30 -2:30pm

NEW — expanded hours and we are no longer accepting drop-offs, unless you are just donating. We will process your trades-ins on a first come, first served basis. No appointments, just walk in.

Why can’t you pay more? Some stores pay up to 50%...

Consignment stores do not pay you UNLESS your item sells, and their prices are often much, much higher than ours. Boheme is not a consignment shop. We pay you regardless of whether it sells, so we take all the risk because we don’t know if the item will sell or not.
At $6-$12 for most items, Boheme is a low cost alternative shop and we couldn’t offer you these low prices if we paid more for clothing that we are not sure we can resell. Hope you understand :-)

For our current needs, please visit [WWW]our website. Please tell all your friends about our fun store –the more people that come in and buy stuff from the store — the more items we can purchase from you!

2013-03-26 22:11:01   Hands down, Dawn is awesome and she really cares about her customers too. Every other consignment or trade-in clothing store I've been in has treated me like they are doing me a favor by taking my clothes. Dawn is the real deal and treats you like a real person as well as a valued customer. If she can't use your clothes at this time, she'll tell you straight up. I like trading-in here for store credit because she has such a wide variety of styles. It's the perfect shop for Downtown Davis: affordable, fun and friendly. Stop by Bohème and check it out; you won't be sorry! —DebWestergaard
