''2012-06-03 22:43:04'' [[nbsp]] This meaningless talk page comes up on the front page of google for the company. Covert professor et. al. are making it a point to perpetuate something that is only damaging to the business. Please leave it deleted, it has nothing positive to add and is a non-thing that causes damage. Why would you want cause meaningless damage to someone. It's bullying. 2012-05-15 20:46:00   I've removed the comment that is the subject of the debate. I'd give it way more credence if the person who made it stood behind it with their name. Is there any reason why this comment is more helpful to keep than harmful to remove? Does anyone honestly believe the comment is truthful? —WilliamLewis

2012-05-15 21:52:01   I think that if they don't want to stand by it it shouldn't be included, also a side job is work with the person not the company.... —StevenDaubert

2012-05-15 21:56:57   Anonymous review + no specifics + not even claiming to be associated with the company = delete IMO. If they want to come back and explain, maybe they'll leave a comment worth keeping. I agree with William's deletion of the funky comment, and with the continued existence of the page itself.

Jimi, if you read this: what do you feel is being done here that constitutes malicious impersonation (that code section you were citing)? —TomGarberson

2012-05-15 22:14:27   I would like to know what is really going on with this company. Just a couple of days ago, LWolk made a bunch of insider-seeming edits that would suggest that the company is live and well, not out of business or going out of business. LWolk previously had [WWW]this comment up on the page, but deleted it, and the "comment that is the subject of the debate" when I re-added the offending comment. LWolk had made the virtually identical comment on the Dunaway Remodeling page.

So, what is *really* going on here? Poor, slandered businessman? Or, more people who just want to have their way on the wiki and have their business painted in the most positive light? Sorry to seem suspicious, but I'm just tired of seeing that again, and again, and again, and again.

In any case, there is something odd going on here and I think it should be clearer before we take sides.

P.S. Not to exaggerate, but this is us, folks:

2012-05-16 15:41:56   Covert- like I told you when the comment was first removed, it was from someone that I did not do business with, who is bitter that I didn't hire them. Why keep offer quotes when you don't understand them? Like, "Wikipedia operates on a presumption of good will?" I told you someone out of the community maliciously attacked the integrity of my business. So you immediately defend someone anonymous with a comment that was obviously slanderous and irrelevant. Also, why don't you use your name if you're so righteous? When random people from anywhere on the planet can sign up and potentially ruin someones' livelihood, why not use a little common sense? Steve- call me names again and we will have a real problem. —jimi
You were being crass, I was attempting to jar you into investigating further. The comment from the anonymous coward was removed. This is not wikipedia, also it's not random people you can gauge location within ~50 miles. The good professor has established plenty of identity on the wiki and already catches enough flak from everyone else. Legal threats are not taken lightly here. Daubert

2012-05-22 14:24:50   Close this Talk page? Going once... —JabberWokky

2012-06-02 15:05:07   Jimi has now stated that the business is in fact not departed. Is it clearer to everyone now that this person is simply trying to present his, and only his, picture of what the business looks like? —CovertProfessor

2012-06-02 15:28:08   You are wiki bullies. I'm only trying to list my correct business information. Do you know more than I do about my business? Why are you so motivated to moderate, dictate and publish assumptions and misinformation about things you know nothing about? You obviously don't own a business and conveniently dodge any real scrutiny by hiding behind your pseudonym. —jimi

2012-06-03 20:50:08   Covert, stop bullying me. This is not a wiktatorship and you are not the wiktator. —jimi

2012-06-03 20:50:11   What's the false information, jimi? Everyone here wants to get accurate information. The comment from the contractor you didn't hire has already been removed. I haven't been following this closely, but my impression is that quite a few people have tried to communicate with you to make sure the page is accurate. —TomGarberson

2012-06-03 22:32:39   Jimi, please settle down, you are not being bullied. Believe me, as a business owner I got off to a rocky start as well. YOU need to settle down and listen to what people are trying to tell you. You are only hurting your image, and your business by your petulant attitude. Truly, people on the wiki here are only trying to help keep a history of the ENTIRE community. This is not like YELP or Yahoo business, or any other business site. Please take a deep breath, step away from the edit button, and explore more... —Davidlm
