Campus Counsel

Campus Counsel provides in-house legal advice for UC Davis on matters large and small. Matters they have advised on include negotiations with Sodexho, and never-ending Howard Zochlinski case. Steve Drown is the head lawyer in the Campus Counsel office.

If wikizens would like to request information from the university that some lower-level official denied you, contact Lynnette Temple. She handles information requests under the Freedom of Information Act and the California Public Records Act.

They are located on the second floor of Mrak Hall. The office entrance is fairly unwelcoming — there are chairs in a tiny waiting room, and you can't even talk to a person inside unless they come out to speak to you. Charming.
