This locally common species can be found between the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm on the UC Davis campus. They often leave Davis to roost, however, due to the fact that many of them are not paid enough to afford to live in Davis. Like all mammals, there is variation within the behavioral characteristics of this species. Temper can range from kind and helpful to ambivalent. No matter what the disposition, assume that all UC Davis Staff are overworked and underpaid, so try to be kind and patient with them.
