Hello, I update this irregularly, usually when I realize that people might want current information about me and this isn't very current.
To quickly sum up my life before Davis, I was born and raised in Tustin, Ca (part of the thirsty SoCalia), I graduated high school, went to a local community college, and then transferred. While I lived there, I had a few interesting jobs, and often rode the mediocre public transit across the county, I miss most bicycling through Santiago Canyon and riding motorcycles along the highways photographing.
Since arriving at Davis, I have changed the course of my studies a few times, reaching out into many departments and eventually settling on obtaining a bachelor of arts and science in philosophy and environmental chemistry. In addition to my course load, I still take many courses not directly related to my major, most notably modern dance and plant biology.
Outside of my time directly involved in classes at the university, I have spent time leaning to weld (craft center), teach (experimental college) and even repair bicycles (bike church. I have also become involved with a few clubs, most notably DRAGON and English Country Dancing, as well as continuing participation in LARPs.
I became involved in this web community as a result of my brother, who informed me of it, and a good friend, Brent Laabs, who introduced me to Philip Neustrom, who founded this site. I worked on the wikispot launch, and subsequent update, mainly repairing the cascading style sheets and doing cross browser ad-hoc bug testing, I am not a programmer of Philip's caliber, but I can understand code, and it is complex (so appreciate the man).
I especially enjoy living in Davis and hope to continue residence in the region after graduation. I especially enjoy living in a city where ambulation and bicycling are useful means of transportation aside the effective system of public transportation. Given my choice of degree, I will likely be working for some state organization after I graduate, later rejoining academia by attending some graduate program.
Speaking of degrees, I did graduate (or at least finish all my classes) as a Bachelor or Art and Science in Chemistry (applied environmental) and Philosophy, and have the fun of having more units than almost anyone else I've met in the college of letters and science. Though finished with classes, I am still on campus frequently for social events and wrapping up my undergraduate research into clay nanoplatelets (poking mud with sticks). Currently I work in the Rancho Cordova area, with a 25 minute commute each way I still think Davis is a nice enough place to live that I afford the luxury — sadly I am out of town on most days because of this.
If I referred you to this page, it is likely to retrieve contact information for future contact, or to learn something about me. If you feel I am missing some crucial or defining detail of my life, perhaps an enjoyable story I often tell, contact me and I may include it in a future revision.
If you are looking to reach me or otherwise investigate my life, this table might be of help

I also tried to start a wiki for my home town of
Tustin.. it kinda flopped.
I am greatly amused when people link every word in a sentence.
I am also amused when people link the same thing twice in a single page.
Have a bit of meaningless metric as to my contributions to this wiki.

I also realized that a talk section on a person page would be a neater way to include conversations. So go there to leave comments and such.
