| Emerson Junior High PTA |
The Emerson Junior High PTA has brought a carnival to town, which will include "about 20 fair-type midway rides for all ages. Carnival Rides include the
Zipper,
Century Wheel,
Cliff Hanger & the Loli Swings." There will also be games and food, and on Friday and Saturday there is live music. Admission and parking are free. Rides/food/games are not. If you want to pre-purchase tickets, they are available at Fleet Feet, Davis Food Co-op, H2O To Go, and Lamppost Pizza. Tickets are available individually or as an unlimited rides pass, which is $20 when pre-purchased, or $25 at the gate.
The entertainment will consist of
Friday: 4 TO 9 pm: EJHS JAZZ BAND (4/4:30-5), SLICE (5:30-6:45), LOVE TRAIN (7-9)
Saturday: 4 TO 9 pm: HARDWATER (7-9) AND OTHER GROUPS
Food includes BBQ tri-tip and ribs, pizza, drinks, chips, cookies, ice cream cups, ice cream bars, and other goodies.

2009-04-05 18:30:16 This was quite fun indeed. Went on the ferris wheel with my sweetheart and then tried unsuccessfully to ingest a full giant pickle (I made it about halfway through). I couldn't have asked for a better Sunday afternoon. Also, free parking and free admission were a big selling point. I give Emerson Junior High an A+ —hokusman
