2011-11-12 19:52:09 Fara, one of the main purposes of the wiki is to document Davis, including — perhaps even especially — its history. If you want an exception for this, you will need to communicate with other editors so they know what is going on. I can't help but add that while you were at Aaranna there were a ton of very controversial edits back and forth, with your name deleted off the page, added back on, etc., etc., etc. So, I can only imagine that this was an indicator of some disagreements between you and others at Aaranna, and that this is part of the reason you want the history off of the page. Still, though, I am unhappy that this was, and is, spilling over onto the wiki, which should not have any role to play in these sort of disagreements (assuming there was a disagreement, or some sort of unpleasantness). —CovertProfessor

2011-11-12 22:26:15 after lots of disagreements between me and aaranna's owner which led to my departure of the salon, i have lost many of my clients due to just this reason. the owner has made me look bad in front of my old clients. i would appreciate if you keep the change.Thank you —FaridehBiashad

I don't see many people really supporting it, but rather just giving a bit of time to give it due consideration. I don't really see how such a simple and factual statement is a serious issue. -jw
2011-11-14 08:52:17 Fara, as you can see, a number of people support keeping the factual sentence about your employment at Aaranna Hair Design on the page for your business. You should understand that the wiki is edited cooperatively, so that business pages aren't controlled by the business owner (the wiki is not a business listing site). The business owner is just one editor among many. Since the wiki is a community resource, it retains information that might be helpful or interesting to members of the community, and in many cases, that has included the history of who has worked where, especially for stylists (since people are often seeking to follow their stylist to their new place of employment or remember where it was that their stylist used to work). If you read Welcome to the wiki/Business Owner, it explains some of what I have just said in more detail. I encourage you to take a look at it. In the meantime, I am going to restore the factual sentence about your former employment to the page.
I am sorry to hear that your time with Aaranna had a lot of disagreements. I hope your new situation works out better for you. You should note that another editor put a link from the Aaranna page to your page, so the linking now goes in both directions, as it should. Again, the point of the wiki is simply to provide information for members of the wiki community, not to help or harm businesses.
