Once a Winter Quarter staple in the aged ["Hickey Gym" Hickey Gym], it is now a Fall Quarter sport at the "Multi-use Activity Center" of the ["Activities and Recreation Center" ARC] facility, with rumors of a Spring Quarter offering as well. Rather than coarse, ouchy asphalt, the ARC-MAC offers smooth, hardwood flooring for your little air puck to go oh-so-fast around the rink, which is equiped with rounded corners and benches and designed with Floor Hockey and ["Indoor Soccer" Indoor Soccer] in mind (or as we say, "Floor Soccer"). There is even a "spectator box" for a bird's eye view of the games (go upstairs next to the racquetball boxes). All equipment is provided, and everyone makes the playoffs. But the action is intense and the fun is unparalleled. And some people take it very, very seriously...<br> + <br> + Official IM rules for Floor Hockey are available [http://imsports.ucdavis.edu/pdffiles/Floor%20Hockey%20Rules.pdf here] in PDF form.</span> </td> </tr> </table> </div>
