According to flyers posted on campus, Graduate Tutorial Services, LCC, is an "custom academic agency contracting with university and graduate students to provide tutoring to their clients."
A brief discussion of them was on the NPB Listserv. They were at the 2008 UC Davis Spring Internship and Career Fair.
Tutors seem to enjoy the flexible hours and the relatively high pay. Parents have also commented on the good quality of the tutors.

Those interested in obtaining a tutor are encouraged to call 916.897.6040, and speak to Rolf, their 2nd in charge(Exec. V.P.)
Their motto is: Scholars at your Service, and they pride themselves on offering on-call tutors with a minimum of a 3.7 GPA, and those who have received at a minimum, an A- in the course they are called upon to tutor. That assumes of course that the tutor being recommended completed their undergraduate coursework here in Davis.
