I do all kinds of work from assembling IKEA furniture to built-in cabinetry (see below) and everything in between - basic handyman stuff, fix-it lists, remodels, etc., etc., etc.

My favorite work is finish carpentry (see below) including trim work and moulding - I've done a LOT of crown moulding.

I am a licensed contractor (CCL #861285), am bonded and can take care of all permitting issues. If you would like references, please contact me and I will pass them along.

Well over ninety percent of my income is from repeat business and client referrals.

By the way. If anyone out there is good at making web-pages (simplicity and clarity are my goals) please contact me. I'm having trouble moving into the 21st century without help.

This is the kinda stuff I'd like to be doing ALL the time!

This surround was made to match the six-panel, douglas-fir doors found in the rest of the house except the panels are serpentine tiles to match the border around the hearth and the surfaces of the woodstove.

Sometimes a little is all it takes...

This was a small remodel I did. The clients wanted more definition between the kitchen and the adjacent room so we added a false beam with pendant lights over the counter (which required lowering the left-hand cabinet and re-installing its trim)

A window without moulding looks like a face without eyebrows

Here, the client wanted casing and window sills, but also wanted something a little different than just the standard moulding treatment, so she chose cherry and alder for the baseboard, fireplace trim, window sills, casing and facing and I made a custom stain for the wood. And now, in addition to some pretty woodwork, she has window sills for candles during the holidays!!

A small job that a client wanted - but I thought was pretty cool

This client mostly just liked the fact that I would do this! She laid out the pattern - all I did was hang 'em on the wall.

2009-11-19 11:38:40   Did some plumbing work (snaked drains in bathroom vanity and tub) and trimmed my Magnolia tree and mended the fence and gate. Did a good job! I definitely will use his services again for other handyman repairs. Thanks Larry! —NDennis
