As of September, 2009, Haute Again is a consignment venture in Downtown Davis, operated by Nina Gatewood of Nina and Tom. Haute Again carries clothes, shoes, and accessories for women, men, kids, and infants.

Haute Again occasionally has sales, most often at the end of a season or to clear up some space on the racks.

Haute Again holds a relatively high standard of clothes sold, trying to avoid the feeling of picking through typical used or thrift clothes. They accept and sell gently used or new, '"high-quality'", '"designer items'". Merchandise from any Big Box stores will not be sold at Haute Again.

Recently seen on the rack: Ann Taylor, 7 Jeans, Joes Jeans, Charter Club, Gap, Banana Republic, Eileen Fisher, United Colors of Benetton, Juicy Bags, Coach Bags and other various brands American and European.

Clothes can be consigned only by appointment. All appointments must be made via email: hauteagain@gmail.com.

How it works: You, the consigner, bring in items, and the storekeeper goes through them while you do other quick errands downtown. She lets you know immediately which she'll be able to take to sell on your behalf. The contract is for 60 days, but you can take them back earlier if you want. But you must set up an appointment. The consignor is responsible for contacting Haute Again about their clothing. They don't mark down the price as time passes, and the seller gets 40%.

2010-06-23 14:47:48   I was going to consign with All Things Right And Relevant but read on their wiki page that sometimes things go missing. Decided to try Haute Again first, where the storekeeper selected about 8 out of 25 items. The drop-off at Haute Again was easy and pleasant.

2010-10-23 13:41:10   A unique find in downtown Davis that rises above the typical consignment store. The Indie Craft Faire they hold 4 times a year is another bonus to this innovative and special store that holds to quality standards. —GarySaylin
