I live eight hours away and coming up for 2 days of school, in which Friday is a holiday is ridiculous. Just start school the following week like every other UC. Why does school not start on Mondays in the winter and spring? It is logical. I am not coming up for 2 days of classes when I see my family once a quarter. It is not fair to people who live more than five hours away from home. This is something I am very determined to fight because I am sick of it. I know other candidates will try to lower us and say that our platforms are impossible to achieve, but I say, Nothing is impossible. I feel that if you have a dream, and have a passion to "Ignite" change, and you are willing to take a risk, then nothing is impossible. On Election Day, vote for the students who care for issues, VOTE "IGNITE!"
