KQEI is one of the locally-receivable radio stations. It is the Sacramento area mirror station of San Francisco-based "KQED". This is the best place to find ![[wikipedia]](http://wikispot.org/wiki/eggheadbeta/img/inter.png){kind=small}
NPR programming. Most of the programming is available as a stream, however a few programs are not available due to licensing issues. Their transmitter is located 7 miles North of Sacramento. This station began operating on 2003-05-12.
