2007-12-10 19:55:30   Is Daviswiki locally owned anymore? I mean surely it is 'owned' in a sense by the community, but legally I believe the owners are all now no longer local to the city. —DavidPoole

Legal ownership is a complex question. For instance, the legal owner of UCD are the UC Regents, which aren't based in Davis. "Locally Based" is certainly accurate for Davis Wiki (and it's under that heading). This page would probably be more accurate as "Local Websites." By the way, we're going to have board elections and anoint a new General Director soon.
