MK Modern is a hip hop dance performance group affiliated with Mga Kapatid. They can be seen exhibiting their routines at a variety of MK events, API gatherings, and certain school events. Using a combination of hip-hop, jazz, old school, funk, and more, MK Modern continues to reinvent themselves with new moves that entertain its audiences.
Auditions for MK Modern occur twice during the beginning of the year: one in October, and one in November for Pilipino Culture Night try-outs. Try-outs consist of a choreographed piece and a freestyle immediately after.
