Mariko Yamada was elected to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors in 2003, and the 8th District of California State Assembly in 2008 which covers Yolo and Solano Counties. Mariko was recently seen at a rally in support of Sodexho worker's efforts to unionize, along with Davis City Councilmember Lamar Heystek.
