Meningitis

Meningitis, which is not to be confused with gingivitis, is a potentially lethal infection of the meninges, a serries of membranes that covers the brain and spinal cord. This infection can be either bacterial or viral. The virus can easily be spred among populations in close contact (ie freshmen).
