Phone Building Elm Tree

Huge The plaque at the base of the tree.

On Third Street and C Street, in front of the Davis central phone office near Central Park, there is a very large English Elm tree. This tree is a designated historical landmark and was planted in 1906. The plaque was placed in October of 1969 by Pacific Telephone employees.

There's a bench next to the tree that's quite popular among the homeless in town.
