Pride Week 2009 LogoPride Week is our annual week of educational, entertaining, and interactive events on LGBTIQ issues, as well as other intersecting identities. During Pride Week, the center hosts events such as Visibility Day, a chance for the queer community to hang out on the quad and participate in a meet and greet; Safe Zone training, a three hour training designed to raise awareness and discuss ways to make the spaces we live and work in more welcoming and safer for LGBTIQ people. Every year we have a keynote speaker who talks about current issues and intersecting identities within the LGBTIQ community. —LGBTRC

Pride Week is an annual event held in the fall—usually October. The event is organized by interns from the LGBTRC, and is funded by grants from the ASUCD Gender and Sexuality Commission and the LGBTRC's own budget.
The events change every year, but generally include Safe Zone Trainings, Rallies, and events that celebrate the LGBT Community.
