Segundo Leadership and Activities Council, referred to as SLAC (pronounced "slack"), is a great way to get involved in leadership and activities (what a surprise!) if you live in the Segundo area. Each quarter, the SLAC-ers put on several activities, including arts and crafts, Hunger Banquet, and a Carnival(Spring 2008).
SLAC-ers who help out at events may earn a SLAC cow, which is highly coveted.
Meetings are on Mondays at 8:00 PM in the Thompson Ballroom.
Upcoming Events
The Segundo Leadership Council also works in coordination with the Tercero Leadership Council and the Cuarto Leadership Council to put on the annual Residence Hall Winter Semi-Formal. The Winter Semi-Formal will be held on February 20, 2009 from 9:00pm to 1:00 AM in Freeborn Hall. The theme is "New York Nights." Tickets will be sold in the weeks leading up to the event for $5 from 7-11pm at the Area Service Desk. It won't be sold on the day of, so get it early!
