Soil and Water Science was a major offered by the Department of Land, Air, and Water Resources until Fall 2008. According to the 2008–2010 general catalog, the major will be discontinued and suggests Environmental Science and Management instead.

2008-09-03 19:25:52 Soil and Water Science has been one of the small majors on campus. When the UC Undergraduate Survey thing came around, I got an email from the people in charge of the thing saying something along the lines of "Yeah it is especially important for people in low-population majors to voice your thoughts." (I'm in Hydrology, but the email listed a bunch of small majors, SWS and Medieval Studies were among them.) —HJH —HJH
