Soroptimist International of Davis is an active group of business and professional women who donate their time and resources to improve our community through service to others. We do hands-on projects throughout the community
Soroptimist International is the world's largest women's service organization committed to improving the lives of women and children throughout the world. We are a global voice for women.
SI Davis supports local nonprofits through at least two major fundraisers each year. We operate the beer booth on Wednesday evenings at the Davis Farmers Market. This money funds our grant awards program. We generally fund approximately $10,000 annually in grants to community organizations who help improve the status of women and girls. Our other fundraiser, an annual dinner, auction and entertainment, "cruise" held at the Davis Vets Memorial, generates in excess of $20,000.

Soroptimist clubs in town; the other is Soroptimist International of Greater Davis. The latter club formed as a response to those who couldn't meet during lunchtimes; they meet evenings.
