Sprouts is a licensed (#573615927) family daycare located in South Davis. Sprouts Child Care provides part-time and full-time daycare for up to 12 children between the ages of 6 months to 4 yrs! They offer enthusiasm, energy, fun, educational activities, art, outside play in a supportive, clean and safe daycare environment. Snacks and lunch are included. Two yards to play in, and everyone can go on walks and to the park often.

Sprouts Child Care believes that at young ages, children learn through play and interaction. Almost any routine interaction can be turned into a learning experience or opportunity for creative thinking. Sprouts Child Care also believes that children learn in different ways and at different rates according to each individual child. Sprouts Child Care provides a safe and nurturing daycare environment that inspires children to become independent learners, without pressure to meet any developmental milestones.

Activities include free playtime and structured playtime. Indoor and outdoor activities will encourage small and large motor development. Story time throughout the day to encourage language and love for books, and a range of creative art activities including art, music, dancing, dress up and creative play. All children will be encouraged to participate in structured activities, but no child will be forced to participate.

Other activities include age appropriate "pre-school" readiness such as learning the alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers, animals, social skills and feelings. Children will be given the opportunity to explore and create in an open, nurturing and safe environment to promote good self esteem and confidence. Sprouts daycare provides nutritious food to promote healthy eating and integrates good personal hygiene and manners into daily interaction and activities.

Our open door policy allows parents to drop in and observe or participate during all business hours. Parents can help to provide the best possible care for their child by keeping Sprouts Child Care informed about any changes in habits, health concerns, favorite foods, fears or special interests. Parents know their child best and Sprouts appreciate as much caregiver/ parent communication as possible. Sprouts Child Care is commited to keeping parents informed of their child’s daily activities and development during the time spent in our daycare program.
