Back by popular demand! Take a peek at this special sale starting Friday, October 16th. The "Good Clothes Open All Doors" Sale will feature items in sizes 2-8, some accessories and include store samples that are new and gently used pieces from owner, Heather Caswell's, collection. Proceeds are donated to charities and projects to benefit the city of Davis.

about where we’ve been, where we are,
and where we are going.
Seeing Through Clothes...What is most essential is invisible to the eye; however, fashion and adornments can play an important role in our lives. We all have a story that reveals our most meaningful and memorable article of fashion. How it has shaped or added magic to your life? Our goal is to find out “how we define ourselves through fashion and how fashion defines us”
Heather Caswell, style coach and owner of The Wardrobe, feels like she’s been married over 1,000 times. Having dressed numerous brides, this has been part of what’s most rewarding and fulfilling to her and her work. We all live through our stories…
It’s fun to observe women light up when they see a beautiful dress, akin to a child in awe of a lit Christmas tree or seeing a masterpiece of art for the very first time.
Beauty touches our lives.
Beautiful things help us to get in touch with our own inner beauty. The fashions that we choose to wear, Heather feels, are a reflection of our truest selves. She's fascinated with how design can document and influence our lives. The Wardrobe invites you to write with thread and tell us your stories of some great romance or fleeting passions of your human experience.
Guidelines
Share a story and express yourself in 500 words or less between November 1st and February 1st.
Include an interpreted image of the item in a photo or sketch.
Please submit your story and image under one of the following themes:
