The house on 2006-09-01
The Yellow House is located at 233 University Ave right next to Cafe Roma and the 3rd Street throughway. The two story, six bedroom house was built sometime in the 1910's. At one time it was used as a residence house for incoming students to UCD. Palm trees adorn the front yard and bamboo covers the back, making for a completely covered and subsequently very ideal party location.
The house garnered the reputation of a party house for a few years, exemplified by keggers with lots of people and Picnic Day parties. An outdoor stage hosted music events at parties. They have hosted a Picnic day party with 18 kegs and about 800 people.
Sometime in 2008 the house was painted blue.
