Thomas Lea is the newest stylist at Creative Hair, in Oak Tree Plaza between Nugget Market and Longs CVS.
He has 20 years of experience and is a Master Color specialist.

Thomas would like to thank all of his clients for being so awesome!

Not only is he a wonderful and gifted hairstylist - he is also very personable, easy to talk with and is constantly volunteering his time and services in various places. I've been the recipient of some of his great hair artistry at a local community theatre, where he shares so much of his time and expertise! I highly recommend him! —lalamusic

2009-07-14 23:25:38   LISTEN UP LADIES!! if you're looking for a stylist who listen to you and delivers the style and cut that you desire as well as a great time full of great conversation and laughs, then THOMAS is the stylist for you!!

i decided to go to thomas for a haircut. i came to the salon with pictures of the style and cut i was going for and he gave me exactly what i wanted! i looooove my haircut! one cool thing that thomas did was style my hair as he cut it. so not only did i get the exact haircut that i wanted but also i got a great style for when i went out later that evening! as thomas cut my hair, he walked me through what he was doing and how he was styling it and gave me tips on how to style my hair myself.

aside from his great services, thomas offers one fun-filled visit to the salon. he made me crack up the entire time i was there!!

i left the salon VERY content and i DEFINITELY plan on go back to thomas for my future haircuts and stylings!! —moniquef

2009-10-17 17:57:43   Thomas is fabulous. He spent 1-1/2 hours coloring and styling my hair and charged me $50 — much, much, much less than what it would have cost downtown. More importantly, it's gorgeous. I have thin, overbleached, middle-aged hair, and he made it look and feel lovely. And he works on only one client at a time, with no assistant. He does the shampooing, etc., and he waits while your color is processing. (Not like some of the overpriced, over-rated, over-booked stylists elsewhere.) He's a find! —Chamoudah

2009-10-20 15:28:59   THOMAS IS THE BEST HAIRSTYLIST IN TOWN!!!! I am so excited finding a world class stylist like Thomas! I moved to Davis from Boston in August 2009, and was apprehensive about looking and finding a good hairstylist who would replace my previous one from Boston. I feel so lucky that when I had randomly called the "Creative Hair" salon, Thomas answered the phone and I booked my appt. with him. He is by far so much better than the stylist I had before. The main reasons are that Thomas actually takes time to listen to you and to look at your face and hair and gives suggestions what would look better, both color and style wise. Thomas is one creative and fun guy! Always positive and in a good mood; it's a pleasure to have a hairstylist like Thomas! I recommend Thomas 110% to anyone looking for a top notch hairstylist!!!—nadiajoh —lornejohnson

2009-12-12 18:52:00   Honestly, I think some of the people who love Thomas' work so much actually just love his personality - which is great. He is so good at putting you at ease; never runs out of things to talk about, and is overall just very personable and easy to get along with. I wouldn't exactly describe his haircuts as phenomenal, though they are pretty good...but that's about it. —dontworryaboutit

2009-12-17 19:10:40   I was sorry to read the latest comment left about Thomas' hair cuts. If you were not happy with your cut you should have returned and asked him to fix it. It is what he does. Thomas has helped me through a very difficult time when I had an autoammune disorder and lost about 1/2 of my hair. I am sure Thomas gives more of this talent away than any other hairdresser in Davis. He works with Lock of Love and makes wigs for the kids, he does makeovers for the Battered Woman's Shelter and has been a treasure to the Davis Musical Theatre Company, doing the hair for the actors in their productions. So dontworryaboutit find yourself another hairdresser. —jeanhenderson

To jeanhenderson: that's nice for you and all, but hopefully after a second read you'll notice I never said I was unhappy with my haircut. Besides, I think one 4-star rating out of a hundred 5-stars is pretty good, don't you? —dontworryaboutit
