Thosewhomake.jpgA well-worn copy from the collection of the Davis Public Library

Those Who Make Memories is a book published by the Davis Enterprise on the occasion of their 100th anniversary in 1997. It is a collection of short biographies of notable Davis citizens who contributed in some way to the life of the city from the earliest days to just before publication. There is a more extended article on Davis history by Davis native, Mary Ellen Dolcini. Writers are mostly staff members of the newspaper. Printing is paperback on newsprint paper. The book is a helpful guide for learning about city history, understanding the lives and personalities behind names on plaques and buildings, and discovering the character of the city.
