Davis's underground is criss-crossed by a wide variety of tunnels serving many different purposes. These range from vehicle underpasses to utilities to the infamous toad tunnels. There have been several proposals to construct an additional bike tunnel beneath the train tracks somewhere along Olive Drive in addition to or instead of a fence that would prevent pedestrians from crossing.
