Pet Nowlen is conductor of the University Concert Band. Music 43/143 meets Mondays and Wednesdays 4:00-6:00 p.m. 105 Music Sectional practices, TBA. Concert Band is open to non-music majors by audition; contact the music department at 530-752-5537 for further information.
Composed pf 40-60 wind and percussion players the Concert Band performs pieces originally composed for band and sometimes performs original works of UC Davis composers. The Concert Band provides music for commencements and convocations.
