It would appear that we don't have an agreement on the content of the page Joe. Care to explain? —RonPayne
If you want to change our official motto, it will have to be brought up to a vote at the next Board meeting on Saturday. —JoseBleckman
Do you want to make the updates on the endorsements or shall I? —RonPayne

Hi Greg! —JoseBleckman

Why don't you guys get your own website? Most of the info on the page is lacking in use to anyone except you guys in it, and has nothing to do with Davis or any public importance. While it's cool that you guys are keeping track of your gaming scores and stuff, and even your agenda meetings, that sort of stuff isn't really general "wiki" material. It's not a blog, we don't need weekly updates. However, that stuff would be great on your guys own website. (But..wow Joseph, you need to take the bowling class :P It's just half a unit of P.E. and I hear it's fun for the first few weeks). -ES

Regretfully, at this point I have to ration my units, lest I hit the 225 wall while I still have required courses to take. —JoseBleckman

It's 1/2 a unit Joe, seriously. -GregWebb
I feel like adding more info to the page now. —RonPayne

More info is good for the time being. Eventually it should probably be parred down, but lets finish building it up before we begin limiting it. One can not prune a tree before the tree has hatched from its seed. But at some point trees need pruning. —JoseBleckman

Weeds in a garden need to be pulled. General info: good. Stuff involving Davis and others: great. Minute details, scores, and meeting notes: wha..? A lot of stuff on the page..well..I said it above. It's easy and even free to get a website online. Oh, and super first response RP. -ES

I can see your hesitancy if our page is somehow causing the Wiki more server expense, but if not I don't see why we can't add everything. I figure more information is better than less. —RonPayne

I question if the average Davisite gives a damn about USA, DavisWiki is for the average Davisite...I nominate deletion -GregWebb

There's no reason to hurt our own organization, especially when are are more real than most pages. There are close to 11,000 pages, who is to say which ones are more worthy than others. —RonPayne

Everybody has a say. For instance, I think that the entry is fine, and could grow quite a bit before becoming too cumbersome. If the detail grows stale, then it should be eliminated (or updated), but there's no reason to not have plenty of fun info after a good summary introduction. The level of detail there now paints a better picture of the focus and activities of USA than most of the stodgy "national history" writeups on most of the fraternal entries. Looking at the entry as a whole, it could likely be tightened up in terms of layout, but the Laser Tag and Bowling ranks are really important to this group and prospective members, just as the list of Dog Friendly Businesses on the Dogs entry is important to the dog owners. Who does this entry serve? People who run across mention of the group — so have a good intro summary. People who are in the group — cover the history and activities. People who are interested in joining the group — cover the activities and people. It is not interesting to many many people, but for those who do care about the group, it makes sense to have the information about their activities... which are light sports and political debate. I fail to see how their maintaining a complete single entry is a problem. —JabberWokky

I'm fine with the overall info, I just think that lots of internal workings should go on their website, not *everything* is for the wiki. Will there will be weekly agenda updates? Weekly 'legislation' they pass? No one needs to know what "bills" they pass for the group, especially every week. There's a difference between being a community source with info possibly of use to public (such as I agree, if they play tons of laser tag, info about it is cool. But conversely, we don't need a weekly scorecard. It's not a blog, it's a public resource. Dumping everything here rather then a website because it's easier is not right and I don't think it compares to trying to be a "complete" entry. -ES

Would you feel better if we posted lists of our famous members who never went to UC Davis? Might better fit in with other entries then. ;) —JoseBleckman

I think those are garbage too. Crap doesn't justify crap ;) Those pages are pretty much dead and lifeless, so it's not as big of a concern. If they were adding to the list constantly, then I'd suggest the same thing: move that stuff to their own website and link to it. ;) too!
