I moved to Davis with my fiancé in September 2007.
We are both vegan & have been pleasantly surprised by all that Davis has to offer.

All grown up now, & I still love this guy:

Forever grateful to:
E.B. White, for writing "Charlotte's Web"-the book that let a little girl know I was not the only one who felt it was wrong to eat the animals I loved.

Howdy, April, and welcome to the wiki... For that matter, welcome to Davis. If you have any questions, feel free to ask — the wiki community, just like Davis itself, is pretty darn friendly. Glad to have you here. —Evan 'JabberWokky' Edwards

2008-01-10 08:23:57   Welcome to davis and the Wiki. If you are ever in SF- Go to [sf]Cafe Gratitude, its raw, vegan and really, really good! =) —MyaBrn Thanks, Mya! I had a delicious vegan pizza at a place called, Fellini's in Berkeley, but I still haven't made it to "Cafe Gratitude" yet. —AprilAries

re: [Cash, credit for orders $5.00+ (That's illegal!!!)] Is it illegal? I see small businesses all over Davis that have a minimum amount required for CC charges.-AprilAries

2009-04-06 14:55:13   Thanks for the info. I had no idea it wasn't allowed. However, I can understand why some small businesses would want to set a minimum purchase amount though. I only asked if it was illegal because someone wrote "That's illegal!" on Café Méditerranée's page. It seemed odd to single them out when I've seen minimum purchase requirements at lots of places. —AprilAries
