While it is occuring before and after the names, they are not affiliated with DCDs name read off. Kinda defeats the purpose of just honoring the dead and raising awareness when you throw the anti-war elements in there. The reason I am an Admin on the event (in case you were wondering) is because I've been trying to work to keep their posters/flyers/boards within some level of reason and respect. Also, to further clairify, our event has been planned out for weeks in advance, w/o prior knowledge of the intention for the 2/15 protest. I probably shouldn't conflate the two issues (attribution and 'prime directive'), as they ''are'' very different. I'd rather see things move back and forth (remember, I took the side of "less attribution, easier migration"), but in a way that both communities agree with. I honestly don't understand the rationale, but was told that they wanted to make "their own" content. Some wikis even locked down their content for awhile, which I never quite understood, but I (perhaps mistakenly) attributed to the same logic. See ["Copyrights"] for more information. If you are the original author and nobody else has edited, you can move it, but if anybody else has edited it or you aren't the complete author of an entry, the Copyright is assigned to DavisWiki, and has to be properly attributed when you move it. As a result, you might not want to move too many, as it might be taken as an unwanted "invasion". Particularly from Davis Wiki where we have a strong community, we should probably try to avoid being pushy on newer, young wikis that are still growing their own culture and conventions. Regardless, it's a copyright violation unless you follow Creative Commons "By" license (and also be aware that not all wikispot wikis are Creative Commons, so you may be doing a "one-way" move). --["Users/JabberWokky"]</span> </td> </tr> </table> </div> Users/CarlosOverstreethttp://daviswiki.org/Users/CarlosOverstreet2007-06-15 07:51:55JabberWokkyRevert to version 107 (Well, hell.
