CovertProfessor's Quick Restaurant Picks

Restaurants are listed in order of preference. I've only listed restaurants that I like. If a restaurant is not listed, it usually means I don't like it, but it might just mean that I haven't tried it.

See CovertProfessor's Restaurant Reviews for more details and more restaurants.

2013-01-05 13:43:05   Glad you like them. Now that I have a better camera, I'm planning to take lots more photos. :) —ScottMeehleib

2013-01-08 16:38:41   Thank you for the concern. My father unexpectedly passed away recently. I just got back earlier today from an extended trip to see him after things went poorly following what should have been routine surgery. He passed away on January 1st, and the funeral was yesterday. It has been a very rough time, both emotionally and physically (we've been travelling by van between several states in the last few weeks, having only packed for a couple days). I put pretty much everything on hold. I did pop in on RC on my phone a couple times a day, usually in the mornings and evenings, but didn't really have time nor feel like engaging in editing. Currently, I'm a bit numb, totally exhausted, and looking forward to something approaching normal life. We still haven't even unpacked. —JabberWokky

2013-01-08 17:33:27   I grabbed the no-on-i png image from their website. I'll let you place it. —gcoville

2013-01-12 11:13:12   Great idea with the collage! —JabberWokky

2013-01-16 16:59:32   I'm glad you kept the enterprise.jpg as a part of the davis enterprise page, I am a new wiki user and was practicing while trying to beautify that page. I only took the photo down because it was slightly embarrassing to the Enterprise to have the main photo be an old sign with a gaping hole in it. —AaronWedra

2013-01-18 15:58:39   I just noticed that you were the one to add info about the upcoming Goodwill store. Thanks for going into the controversial aspects. I first learned about all of it last week from a discussion with four homeless individuals; all were adamantly opposed to Goodwill's actions and quite sympathetic to the operators of the laundromat, who they said were very friendly people who have been there for 40+ years. It's a sad state when "Goodwill" has good reason be viewed as antagonistic to the homeless.

I read the comments in the most recent Vanguard article you linked to. As usual, mostly typical disheartening disdain or apathy from that group of users. So thanks again for raising awareness to this seemingly subtle but important issue which will affect many low-income residents. —ScottMeehleib

2013-01-28 17:51:47   Thanks for enabling that alert, and then disabling after the arrest. Would I want to add text about the arrest to the alert page, or just delete the content all together (because of the arrest). Or just let it ride as is for now? —justincox22

2013-01-28 18:11:38   plonked —JabberWokky

2013-01-28 20:15:53   Hi, on the salons and barbers page there is still a comment with a spam link from that nick ferra person. Did you intentionally leave that or did you just miss it? I thought I'd ask instead of making assumptions and messing with your edit :) —LoriOrf

2013-01-29 16:51:34   Yes, that's better, thanks. So what would be your favorite restaurant to take a visiting 86-year-old aunt for lunch? —DonShor

2013-01-29 17:36:26   Thanks Prof. Kind words do seem to help. —Davidlm

2013-02-03 15:47:53   Excellent suggestion, and I hadn't thought of that one. Thanks! —DonShor

2013-02-05 17:51:02   I am not going to be patient for Leticia's games this time. I will be merciless in my reverts if she continues the campaign of false positive info —PeteB

2013-02-06 13:16:10   processing —StevenDaubert

2013-02-06 22:02:18   I have uploaded the map on the current measure I page. The map is from the city. The river water from the proposed take-out could be legally sold
anywhere in the green areas. Those areas (not counting UCD acreage)
add 50% more area to the built-up land Davis now covers. —StevenDaubert

2013-02-07 08:59:08   much obliged I gave it a quick U/L and then had to IRL

glad you enjoy the musings —StevenDaubert

2013-02-07 11:03:31   CovertProfessor, I read your review about the possible red light violation when a little part of your front bumper went over the line, I had the same thing happened to me this morning at Russell and Sycamore, but I'm sure I was behind the line or maybe my license plate was a little over it. I saw one flash go off. So I was wondering if you ever got the ticket when it happened to you last year? —kuriman

2013-02-08 10:35:45   Hi CovertProfessor:

Aaron and I have tried to update information on The Enterprise page quite a few times over the past couple of years and our updates always get the 'revert' treatment. Much of the information was never true (Iris was never the Circulation Manager- in addition, she has now been retired for over two years) or is outdated- Sharon Stello now works for the OC Register, John Edwards has been in Marysville, Nebraska and NC working at different papers for a couple of years now... and our independent contractors do not get paid the rate you keep reverting to. Our insert businesses have changed. We'd like to add our legal advertising email address to the list of our emails we'd like folks to be able to use. You can now link to an article and it will always link to that article. Regular columns and features needs updating- it is an incomplete list of our long-time columnists. MUCH of the 'information' that is listed appears to be a comment rather than community description of the business. Someone's experience as a paperboy is awesome (even when admitting sleeping in on a Sunday!), but belongs in the comments rather than in a description of the business- even built from the community's perspective.

"The wiki's content, its meaning, its purpose—it's up to you. As a general rule you should contribute content you think will be helpful or insightful to others, but even this rule can be broken at times. Interesting things stay; bad content gets cleaned up, expanded upon, improved, or removed. Never be afraid to try something new, to edit something, to make your voice heard.

This is our place, our resource, our voice."

Aaron and I also live in Davis (as do the owners of the paper and a great deal of our staff) - our voice is also local.

Our current efforts are not working. How can we update and correct information?

Thank you for the guidance-
Kim, (530)756-0800 —KimberlyYarris

Hi Kim: We aren't a neutral bland information only site, Comments actually SHOULD be integrated into an article instead of banished to the lower half. Think of the wiki as a tool for collaborative authorship, not a yelp/Wikipedia clone. Make the changes you mentioned one at a time and then fill out the bar (in the edit page) that says "please comment about this change" for each change. That way editors in recent changes can see that you are updating info and not just "blanking in progress" ~SD P.S. Where is T.Burt these days

2013-02-15 20:33:02   I actually hadn't seen those instructions, but I did wonder about the visibility of the alert page. If you think this one qualifies, do you mind putting in the code that gives it visibility and I'll make note of what you do for next time? I don't fully understand, but then again I'm exhausted and I don't even know where to expect the content to show up on the homepage anyways. If this doesn't seem urgent enough for an alert, I can just move a shortened version of the text over to the Islamic Center's page. —justincox22

2013-02-19 23:18:42   Thank you for your comment about our dog, by the way. :) —Davidlm

2013-02-20 13:50:49   You missed a cpl big comments on Twins...restoring em now —PeteB

2013-02-20 14:12:39   Different IP's but we can't say 100% (but it is highly likely) —PeteB

2013-02-20 14:19:22   Sorry—you're right... —PeteB

2013-02-23 01:40:07   Good call on the olive drive market reversion, I have a massive head cold so I thought I'd hold off on making serious changes to a page until I were more lucid :) —LoriOrf

2013-02-27 13:52:32   CP-I agree on Stephen Kui Photography—it's really commercial. I also question if all these pictures are actually his clients which if not is a copyright issue. —PeteB

2013-02-27 18:51:42   I agree with you but I have to stop falling for his bait. —PeteB

I could be wrong, but I'm guessing they are both named after the same Bates. As I understand it, he was pretty highly regarded as a professor and pharmacist. [WWW]

2013-02-27 21:22:31   Hope you don't mind that I still chime in on things. I do apologize that I caused issues early on when I first came here. I have such a passion for the Wiki philosophy that it drives me to contribute. Thought you'd like to [WWW]read a piece I wrote on DavisWiki. —PeteB

2013-02-27 21:27:37   Ohh, I was totally confused in more than one way and didn't even realize it. Glancing at a map though, I'm wondering why Bates Drive doesn't appear to be anywhere near the other college themed streets. I wonder if an editor just assumed it is named college or if it's a verifiable fact. I can't seem to find any info about it online. Do you know? —ScottMeehleib

2013-02-27 21:42:40   Ah, my mistake. Thanks for catching it! —ScottMeehleib

2013-02-28 20:17:45   Thanks for finishing up Nutrishop Davis. I got saddled by a really long brutal call. —PeteB

2013-03-02 00:45:08   Yesterday if you were looking North North West from the 5 you could see a nice big gray plume way off in the distance

that is probably the culprit —StevenDaubert

2013-03-02 11:55:46   it was for sure headed down the valley towards us, kinda hugging the coastal foothills —StevenDaubert

2013-03-02 12:40:04   A random smell of smoke might be part of the Essence of Davis... or, to be fair, any place in the Central valley. —JabberWokky

2013-03-05 22:40:57   Nice! —MeggoWaffle

2013-03-06 16:43:11   Thanks for the help! —BrianPakpour

2013-03-07 14:55:29   Regarding Johanna Utter, L.Ac., we seem to be having a run of new editors who aren't catching onto the process yet. —PeteB

2013-03-07 15:52:58   Yeah the complete disregard is what drives me nuts too —PeteB

2013-03-07 20:04:34   Sorry-I'll start linking addresses then. :) —PeteB

2013-03-13 13:17:30   You offering to contact them then??? —PeteB

2013-03-13 14:08:37   I think there needs to be a flash on the upper right header when someone gets something posted on their user acct. I no longer get a flash on mine —PeteB

2013-03-13 15:04:04   Opinion re: Cambridge House Apartments please. Monica is removing things—some of it I can see was entered sarcastically-but she seems to be whitewashing. —PeteB

2013-03-18 15:26:59   Sorry I just have major issues with someone blatantly lying for business purposes and using the Wiki to further it. —PeteB

2013-03-18 15:52:26   Suspend her page for 6 months and make it not viewable for that time. If she is still doing it we ban her. —PeteB

2013-03-18 16:23:15   Proposal made...but modified my original idea. —PeteB

2013-03-19 09:31:19   Hello, I don't edit the wiki very often so I was wondering if you could add the Center for Integrative Animal Medicine to the vet page. I just learned about her new-ish business a few weeks ago and when I went to do more research I noticed its not on the Wiki. She does not do regular vet care but does acupuncture, cold laser, and Chinese herbs. and [WWW]! Jennifer —JenniferH

2013-03-19 10:52:00   I'm less concerned — in terms of editing — about the bites, simply because without being there, it is hard to understand what kind of bite it was. An actual aggressive bite, or mouthing plus a headbump... or the likely case of something in between. It's hard to present secondhand. I'm not saying it shouldn't be there, but the number of dogs is a very quantifiable thing. I do agree that having too many dogs to keep a constant eye on leads to bites of all kinds, from mouthing play to dominance nips to actual dangerous aggression out of fear and/or anger. —JabberWokky

2013-03-19 13:00:08   There is a difference between my personal assumption and what I think is ethical to post in public. My personal take on what probably happened, based on many years of reviews, is pretty dire. It relates to the whole metric of more serious accusations requiring more direct witness. Animal abuse — intentional or not, and including neglect — is a pretty nuclear accusation. I'll defend a direct accusation with some factual statements, but I want to be careful about hearsay and rumor when it comes to such serious matters. —JabberWokky

2013-03-19 13:28:17   As much as I was disagreed with (mostly legitimate-sorry I don't agree with Jim's comment about being too emotionally involved), the discussion has been very involved and very positive towards promoting honesty on the Wiki —PeteB

2013-03-19 14:04:22   Except we've gone over and over stuff with Elizabeth and the complaints before.... —PeteB

2013-03-19 21:10:50   Thanks for the support. I tried to engage Jim further and he just deletes my comments outright. Oh well. Thx again —PeteB

2013-03-19 21:18:00   I think you can see here how in this situation how quickly I did back off and get community discussion involved which has now fed upon itself to expose some fairly serious concerns. Yeah trigger happy at first but maybe it did serve a purpose in the long run. That being said-I do see your point. If you ever come my way I'd welcome an opportunity to buy you dinner —PeteB

2013-03-19 23:04:10   Hi, Professor. My dog Monty was bite #1 and he lost the tooth. It just so happens that the victim of bite #2 (the one where vet was present) is in the same puppy class, and we owners swapped stories and realized it was the same dog in both instances. The other owner started the recent wiki thread. —GoldenA

2013-03-20 13:42:31   Friendly is subjective and should be in a comment-not the original description. Or it needs to be phrased better. —PeteB

2013-03-20 13:59:08   I changed it to something different that might work better for Trung's concern. Let me know what you think please —PeteB

2013-03-20 14:08:40   I agree with you on the wiki striving to reflect a community perspective but the opening of such subjective terms on the main section of a service provider seems unnecessary since the bottom of the page already hosts a wide array of user opinions. It also opens up the door for other service providers, restaurants, etc. to use these colorful terms. I do like PeteB's addition to the page better than the previous single adjective though. - Trung —Trung

2013-03-20 15:01:28   Sorry CP but I just don't see the great disparity in what I have in there now compared to what it was before. —PeteB

2013-03-23 17:51:46   What do you find so compelling about Davis wiki? I'm not challenging you or saying it's not something worthy of time and energy, I'm just very interested at your devotion to it. —jenniferlawson

2013-03-23 18:52:42   It absolutely is. And it's a wonderful town. Everything is a world in of itself once you get into it I guess. Academia is really demanding though. I'm just surprised he or she is able to futz with this thing so much. —jenniferlawson

2013-03-23 19:18:47   Sorry to but into somebody else's discussion, but I watch the wiki constantly, but only edit when I really know something. Not being a Davis resident, somebody like CP contributes more, but I doubt he watches it more... —Davidlm

2013-03-23 19:56:46   Like many people of this time period, I find myself multi-tasking, which is sometimes good for taking a break but other times is a distraction. In this case, I can console myself that even when I'm not working on academic stuff, I'm helping to build something really cool for my community, something that I myself use every day. And neither my colleagues nor my students have complained about my lack of productivity, so I'm able to get done what I need to do. On the other hand, being anonymous, I don't have my colleagues asking me why I spend so much time on the wiki... I look at it as volunteer service to the community — something that many academics do, and are encouraged to do, except in this case I don't get to put it on my CV and get credit for it. —CovertProfessor

2013-03-23 20:45:13   RE: your comment about adding the wiki to your cv. I wish I could add spending countless hours watching reality tv to study human behavior to my psych cv. That's what I tell myself, at least. It's for research purposes ;) —LoriOrf

2013-03-23 20:51:32   Yes, that absolutely counts. I spend a lot of time looking at pictures and watching cute videos of animals. I am def adding that to my vet cv. Im learning about breeds or behavior or physiology or something. Very cute anatomy and physiology! —LoriOrf

2013-03-25 22:47:55   Can you please assist me in deleting the Nutrishop Davis business page. I no longer wish to have my business on the Davis wiki —NutrishopDavis

2013-03-27 21:11:47   CovertProfessor: I recently made edits to Stone Soup Catering & To Go's Davis Wiki page, it was not my intention to remove the link to the Catering category, thank you for catching that and reverting it. My intentions over the deletion were not 'oh-so-mysterious', as you put it in the revision history, I hope as evidenced by the two links to Stone Soup Catering & To Go's competitors which were not removed during my round of edits (the competitor links appear in the paragraph explaining the possible name confusion).

I noticed you are very active on Davis Wiki, I really do believe it's a great resource for Davis, that businesses should honestly and fairly represent themselves in a positive light while keeping Davis Wiki as unbiased and informational as possible, and I really do appreciate your contributions! —BenjaminMillam

2013-03-28 11:27:16   Not currently, it just occurred to me that I could probably fill some of the Photo Requests by going through some of my photos. It did prompt us to talk about heading to Davis this summer for a long road trip instead of going camping like we were planning to. —JabberWokky

2013-03-28 11:46:33   And the ensuing discussion after your comment seems like we're now planning a trip for late fall, cutting across the Southwest two different ways to gawk at big rocks both ways and visit [WWW]my favorite painting in real life.

Also: [WWW]this. —JabberWokky

2013-04-07 18:17:22   I personally like the notability in the first paragraph, but was willing to just mention that preference and see if anybody else felt that way. I guess I wasn't alone. —JabberWokky

2013-04-10 18:00:20   If the Wiki isn't about promoting her business, why is their a promotional coupon on her page??? Just saying.... —PeteB

2013-04-19 15:39:24   CP-opinions on Cambridge House Apartments/Talk please. Monica is again whitewashing the page. EDIT: she replied (finally). —PeteB

2013-04-20 23:44:16   Thank U 4 noticing, Picnic photos... ;-) —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-21 10:25:47   I like taking photos, so it is really no burden. I hope other people will post their photos too, because indeed the ones I posted offer only a snapshot. I don't have photos of the Parade or of the Doxie Derby for instance... Maybe I will ad some or modify a little today. —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-21 14:18:10   Yes, these three pics are really nice, but more would be very nice to give us the opportunity to look through more eyes than our own. On Twitter, people are posting pics too; I don't know why they don't share on Wiki. Maybe they think it's too difficult or so? Compare

2013-04-21 14:29:17   OK, I will tweet the UC Davis account... —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-24 15:55:37   I have opened the April9Wind.gif in Fireworks (as animated gif). All the 8 frames are the same. So it won't show any animation. —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-24 16:05:50   Do you have 8 different grass/wind pictures? Open them together/multiple as animated gif and set the animation times. Well, I guess you know the drill? —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-24 16:26:04   It's not difficult when you have the separate files (something like 'grass1.jpg, grass2.jpg, grass3.jpg' etc.). You could send them to me and I will animate them. —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-24 16:27:55   Did you try something like this: [WWW] [WWW]

2013-04-24 20:55:48   Niiicccccceee! I mean: your .gif! —ConstantiaOomen

2013-04-26 16:24:32   CP, The Wiki may be allowed to be tendentious, but not inaccurate, right? None of the trees will be of paltry height. Some of the trees chosen for replacements on Claremont Drive will grow to 30 feet, some will grow taller. Some will be planted farther back within the planting easement rather than more or less directly under the power lines. The use of the word "paltry" is, in this case, not only tendentious, but inflammatory. If Mr. Walter wishes to add rude, untrue characterizations, let him do it in the comments. Is that not where opinion belongs, rather than in the body of an article? The Tree Commission voted unanimously to approve this project because it removes trees of poor structure and declining health in a spot where they never should have been planted and replaces them with trees that will do well there. on 4 May, some 60 trees will be re-planted in the area. While we will lose shade coverage in the short term, we will gain much more in the long term. And if Mr. Walter continues to revert to the word "paltry," not having participated in the process in any way or bothered to learn about it, I will continue to correct the entry. I am speaking for myself in this, not as a member of the Tree Commission or as the president of Tree Davis—or as one of the shovel-wielding volunteers who will be out there for our Arbor Day celebration and planting on the 4th. —DavidRobinson

2013-04-30 10:13:31   It looks like there may be some good news in terms of outreach to the apartment managers! It helps when there's a good model of communication to point to. I had a couple managers email me earlier this year and ask for archiving, so there's a slow realization that the wiki isn't hostile to them, we merely undo some of the overtly commercial edits some managers try to do. I do think that — particularly for apartments — almost all on-line activity relevant to them is composed of business listings for the commercial benefit of the complex, so suddenly hitting a genuine non-profit, community oriented resource just confuses them. —JabberWokky

2013-05-01 16:14:27   CP-I'm trying my best to redirect JDmacleod here—but if you want to talk to him yourself, his email is jmcleod@carmelpartners.netPeteB

2013-05-01 23:36:12   (re: the epidemic of org accounts) It really is. At least a spike in them. Odd timing, too. —JabberWokky

2013-05-05 14:19:59   Hey, you're engaging in intellectual honesty on the fluoridation page! That's not right!

It is too often extraordinarily hard to make a point without people reading a end goal into it. The concept of presenting all facets of a topic, including those that are not supporting (or irrelevant) to your current position, makes people confused and too often assume you're "on the other side". As if there are simplistically two sides to everything. —JabberWokky

2013-05-06 22:16:18   Interesting video. Friendly, Courteous, and Kind are also part of the Law. Not to mention Brave. They would all seem to apply here as well. If you know a fellow scout who happens to be gay, Loyal would also apply.

I'll also note that the churches that I know who support Scouting are all More Light or Methodist welcoming congregations. I'm absolutely sure there are many that aren't, but a fair number of congregations are quite happy to accept human beings of all stripes rather than a narrow set. They aren't going to be leaving in the droves that the fellow implied.

I do wonder how much of this is that awful conflation of homosexuality and child molester. I'd like to say that's historical, but I still see it here and there during discussions. The prevalence of males in the Catholic abuse cases didn't help. —JabberWokky

2013-05-12 12:52:15   Thanks for making the page on Jack's. I was waiting to write a review but alas - no page was set up! —RyanMeyerhoff

2013-05-12 16:47:10   Thanks, CP. :-) I hope more people will upload. On events like these, I see (lots of ) other people taking photos like myself, but where are they on Wiki? —ConstantiaOomen

2013-05-12 17:41:45   Yes, I guess it all lands in private photo albums, and a single picture in a local newspaper. I tweeted Ashton Altieri ( ) to come to the festival (next time), because he was covering the May Fair in Dixon on "News 10 at nine", which of course is much more boring than the Whole Earth Festival. ;-) —ConstantiaOomen

2013-05-12 21:08:57   That's what I thought. The May Fair is just plain standard, the WEF is something much more challenging. I think ABC/News 10 at Nine think they should cover the tastes of the masses first. Ashton's reports on TV are called "Ashton's Adventure". Well, they should make them so. I suspect Ashton would like Davis's events much better. —ConstantiaOomen

2013-05-14 15:07:40   So what do you think about TonyWilson?? The same-IP posts are WAAAYY over the top happy about the place. I emailed them and suggested they read the page. —PeteB

2013-05-14 15:35:13   I think we should consider removing them pending reply from the management folks. I don't think Sockpuppet comments should be allowed to stay on. Again IMHO. EDIT—I think we should come up with a way to identify why they are on the same IP's for this one (computer lab) so it's not questioned in the future. —PeteB

2013-06-21 12:59:22   Hey I've referred ArlieRighos to you about Eastlake Apartments. You were more involved in that discussion than I was. —PeteB

2013-06-21 16:25:06   Hey take a gander over here at Almondwood Apartments/Talk. Looks awfully shady to me. —PeteB

2013-06-25 11:50:22   In regards to T&M Bike Shop I do have a problem with "false advertising". And by false advertising I mean stating you carry or sell something that 1, you have no right to sell, or 2 have, but once sold do not have a reliable line on replacements. ie. saying you sell Specialized bikes, but only have 2 used ones, then a customer comes in looking for a Specialized because they saw on the wiki that you "have" them only to be told those were sold and try to sell them something else. That is what I have a problem with. Everything on my shops wiki page are things I have and am authorized to sell therefore allowing me acces to current and future stock. I realize that daviswiki is not an advertisement, but a reference for residents looking to get information on happenings, local businesses and what they have to offer (therefore and indirect advertisement). I don't even sell any of the brands listed on T&M's page, but if I did, I would have a problem with indirectly confusing potential customers. Especially in a town that has more than *a dozen competing businesses all vying for the same limited customer base. —Aaron.Curtin

2013-06-25 13:19:43   Sorry to be so aggressive on this but this kind of blatant BS sockpuppeting just infuriates me...and the hiding behind it despite it being so friggin blatant. —PeteB It's a pretty clear case of being busted. Granted the drastic backpedal helps smooth the wrinkles however the whole episode smacks of being disingenuous ~SD

2013-06-25 13:39:58   golly I don't think it's worse than a mass pepper spraying.

How about 2.5? —StevenDaubert

2013-06-25 13:45:52   I figured that was whats going on... I've made it a 2.5 cause it wasn't a really vitriolic comment. That would make it higher. —StevenDaubert

* Seriously? It wasn't even close to scathing? I stated nothing but facts observed in person. —Aaron.Curtin

2013-06-26 13:34:18   For what it's worth, it might be more productive to disengage for a while. Not seeing any of the activity being particularly useful today, and it can easily be cleaned back up in a day or two. Otherwise, the back and forth is starting to look snarky on both ends. —jefftolentino

2013-06-26 14:50:04   CP-what's your email please? Something interesting has come up and I'd like to discuss it with you privately. —PeteB

2013-06-28 11:29:33   Yeah, I've got mixed feelings on the Yelp stuff. On the one hand it's a good source of additional information for many businesses, which is the main purpose of the Wiki. On the other hand, it's more directly promotional and, more importantly, Yelp is a shady racket with terrible business practices. —TomGarberson

2013-06-28 14:35:07   There is surprising power in active and openly acknowledged imperfection. —JabberWokky

2013-07-14 17:19:12   If that doesn't work (and alas, it probably won't), I'll take the next step with a very blunt statement with little to no wiggle room and action to follow. I already wrote the comment, but you posted first. It's pretty clear cut abusive editing. —JabberWokky

2013-07-16 17:11:12   CP-would you please mind helping me explain on the page for martinennor why he shouldn't be removing comments from E-Z Smog? —PeteB

2013-07-16 17:22:55   Wow, take a break from the wiki to let things cool down and this is where you guys want to take it. Not sure who PeteB talked to at Biria USA and Lynskey, but according to Michael Biria @ BiriaUSA (201-461-1980) and Don Erwin, Sales Manager or Jack Kopeski, Sales Account Manager @ Lynskey Performance (423.499.5815) I I am still an authorized dealer and considered a "non stocking" dealer respectively. As for Van Dessel, I was the only dealer in the area for a long time and did not think to ever renew my dealership agreement as I always just ordered when I needed one. I'm fine with the removal of Van Dessel, but I urge you to call the names above to confirm my status with Biria and Lynskey. I await your all powerful, overtly opinionated verdicts. - Aaron (07/16/13) —Aaron.Curtin

2013-07-16 19:36:12   I apologize—I thought he said it had to do with my wording not the actual E-Z smog discussion. I apologize for misunderstanding —PeteB

2013-07-17 21:18:21   Hi CovertProfessor. I am sorry for the confusion about PawiesPets. I am a student at UCD now, and personally provide pet care services here, in Davis. My Santa Cruz clients are under the great care of my fellow pet sitters back in Santa Cruz. Unfortunately, you are right, I cannot be in two places at once. But I do pay occasional visits to our regular clients when I return to Santa Cruz for family occasions. —lizluchkovska

2013-07-20 15:58:04   What's up with Chapman Point Cottage? A subliminal testimonial for a great weekend getaway? Is this some type of murder mystery clue embedded in the Wiki edit history? Someone call J.B. Fletcher, there's a mystery in Cabot Cove! —Dr.Baker

2013-08-01 21:24:14   Wow-didn't know you were CIA ;P —PeteB

2013-08-14 18:32:21   The sheer # makes me doubt it—but if it was only 2 or 3 I'd agree. —PeteB

2013-08-14 18:36:14   We've got a winner!!! DING DING DING! —PeteB

2013-08-14 18:40:46   I removed the sockpuppet-we'll see if he gives up. Sounds like a disgruntled ex-employee to me —PeteB

2013-08-15 13:40:43   Since you removed his original comment from Taco Bell, should we remove from Chipotle as well? —PeteB

2013-08-19 13:57:30   Ordered. Thank you! I was at GenCon 2013 for the past four days, and I certainly would have missed that. —JabberWokky
