Evelina is currently a freshman at UC Davis. She’s majoring in Design, and may possibly be double-majoring in Sociology because she’s interested in how different people interact with each other. Her hometown in California is San Jose, though she also claims Taipei and New York City her second and third hometowns. As a result from living in Taiwan for five years, she feels connected with the Taiwanese side of her identity, which she is extremely proud of.
She enjoys eating out with her friends during the weekends and trying all the different restaurants that Davis offers. Other than with friends, she mostly hangs around Epic, the awesome Asian American division of Campus Crusade for Christ, when she is not with friends. (Though Epic people are her friends too!) Evelina can sometimes be seen singing for the worship team, a.k.a. the ‘band’ for Epic.
Other than eating out and Epic, Evelina also enjoys going to the Coffee House Bakery (they have awesome Chocolate Chip Scones and Filled Croissants!), shopping around (Gottschalks anyone?), reading, writing, and drawing. She plans to get much more involved in campus next year, so be prepared to see her everywhere!
