Henry Stanley was - among other things - a guitar teacher who lived and worked in Davis. He's also an alumni of UC Davis and was an active member of the Davis Shambhala Meditation Center.

Shambhala Mountain Center, a meditation retreat center on top of a mountain in Colorado.
