I am the former Environmental Policy and Planning Commission Chair for ASUCD, as well as the former Program Director for the Campus Center for the Environment.
I like poetry and short stories and odd literature allusions. I also like cake.
A lot of my time is spent advocating for the environment. While I am not the most loud and rhetorical of voices, I do like to get stuff done.
I am a recent UCD graduate that still hangs out with the college kids in a creepy, creepy way.
I am not very good at being tactful.
I still live in Davis. This is because, to be perfectly honest, everywhere else I have lived has been much, much worse then Davis and to finally live in a place where I a) won't get shot in gang fight crossfires or b) won't get asthma from the air pollution is a nice thing indeed.

2007-12-12 21:36:57 Jill, if I read your post correctly, you recently moved into Viking Apartments? My roommate and I have been wondering if anyone else's apartment is as cold as ours. We have these huge sliding glass doors and I can only assume they are as old as the building itself, and thus they don't insulate very well. On top of that, the walls themselves are cold. I'm wondering if it's just our place or if the whole building is like this. —MattStauffer
