Melanie is the former Arts Desk editor for the California Aggie. She does vocals and drums for Buildings Breeding, and recently moved to a house in Sacramento's Midtown with Chris Larsen and Chris Thielen. Though she lives in Sacramento, she also is on the Davis ArtAbout Committee, which works to organize the monthly Second Friday ArtAbout in Downtown Davis.
