He lived in Emerson Hall 322B, which by virtue of the ["Cuarto" Cuarto Residence Hall's] location inside of city limits, made him a Davis resident and an eligible voter in the city. - - ==ASUCD== - Lee immediately sought to get involved on campus and in particular ASUCD. Lee's first ASUCD position was as ["ASUCD Legislative Clerk" Legislative Clerk] in the ["ASUCD Vice President" Office of Vice President] ["Genna Carnes"]. Later, on October 19 was appointed by then-Chairman ["Michael Lay"] and confirmed by the ASUCD Senate as a voting commissioner on the ["External Affairs Commission"] (EAC)--alongside ["Gregory J. S. Working with then-IFC Representative ["Chad Roberts"], the two were co-chairs of student outreach for the event. - - While taking classes during the summer subsequent to his first year, Lee first devised the concept that later became the Principles of One Community. During his year in the dorms, Lee also served on the ["Residence Hall Advisory Board"]. Lee was responsible for bringing chocolate soy milk to the dinning commons upon the recommendations of one of his friends. Lee was appointed by President Salem to represent the Residence Halls on the new created ASUCD Student-Police Relations Committee - - - ==Miscellaneous== - He was inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. - He served on both the Academic Senate's Library Committee and Undergraduate Council - - =Second Year (2007-2008)= - - ==ASUCD== - On September 27th, Lee was confirmed by the ASUCD Senate to his second term as External Affairs Commission Chairman. On November 11th, Lee was appointed by ["ASUCD President"] ["Kareem Salem"] and confirmed by the ASUCD Senate as the Director of the ["ASUCD City/County Affairs Office" ASUCD Office of City and County Affairs]. He held the two aforementioned positions concurrently for 25 days. On December 6th Lee appointed and the Senate confirmed ["Gregory J. S. Dizon"] as his successor as Chairman of the External Affairs Commission. Due to his concurrent membership on the Human Relations Commission, the City Council had to pass an exception (consent calendar item) to an ordinance restricting membership on multiple commissions at any one time. Lee currently is the only person serving on multiple city commissions. On May 14th, Lee was elected by his colleagues to succeed Chad Roberts as Vice-Chairman of the City-UCD Student Liaison Commission. - - ==Joint ASUCD-City of Davis Projects== - On October 11th, ASUCD President Kareem Salem issued Executive Order #1 (the first of its kind) establishing the Executive Task Force for the ["Principles of One Community"]. Under the chairmanship of Lee the formal process and collaboration between representatives of the University, City, student body and ["DJUSD"] began to draft a community-wide document to be named the Principles of One Community. The first meeting of the Executive Task Force took place on November 1st at ["Mrak Hall"] (location of the UCD Administration). The second meeting took place on November 30th at the ["Memorial Union"] ["Garrison Room"]--which is commonly used for External Affairs Commission and other ASUCD meetings. The third meeting took place on January 10th and was held in the ["City Hall"] Conference Room. The fourth and final meeting of the Executive Task Force took place on January 25th at the ["ASUCD Conference Room"] in the Memorial Union. Subsequent to their final meeting, the Executive Task Force sent out their draft of the Principles of One Community for review and approval from the various governing boards in the Davis community. The City Council approved the document on February 19th and the ASUCD Senate on February 21st. If you look at the top bar which says "Front Page", "Map", "People", "Bookmarks" it then says "Recent Changes" and "Insert Name of Current Page".....
