2007-03-20 11:15:30   You should apply for CLIMB (a research group in mathematical biology), by the way the seminars that are required count as restricted electives for the quantitative biology and bioinformatics minor. Contact clhom@ucdavis.edu for more info —MattHh

2007-04-01 16:19:21   Any idea what the acceptance rate for CLIMB is? I'm getting kinda nervous about it. —TusharRawat

2007-04-02 20:36:23   Hey, did you notice you can use your own CSS file for the wiki? Check out your user settings... I was thinking about hosting a few alternate themes, so if you come up with a good one, let me know. —JabberWokky

2007-04-02 23:43:37   How long have you been in the Davis anime club? It's a shame they bought the rights to FMA, I was on like ep 52 when that happened and had to stop torrenting it. Fansubs are an awesome system. Yeah the rabbit was 11 pounds, and 12 years old when he died last month. —StevenDaubert

2007-04-03 20:56:21   If you're looking for a host with PHP that's free, look up dhost.info. I use it myself and it used to be ad-free, but the owner recently installed ads to cover the rising costs of maintanence. Regardless, it IS free (no strings attached - I've used it for almost 3 years now) and as long as you use Firefox the ads should cause no problem. Actually either way the ads should be no problem because the owner wants to retain members. You might also want to check out https://www.nearlyfreespeech.net/ I haven't used them myself, but the people who have used it say you only pay for what you use (space, bandwidth, etc.) —TusharRawat

2007-04-17 00:10:19   Btw, did you apply for CLIMB for the upcoming year? —TusharRawat

2007-04-28 20:13:32   That's great! I chose the 11th. —TusharRawat

2007-05-17 22:35:01   hope your interview went well —MattHh

2007-06-04 13:08:59   Yay! You got into CLIMB as well! Awesome! —TusharRawat

2007-06-27 21:46:27   They teach Pascal at UCD, or they did in the last few years? —PhilipNeustrom

2007-07-02 23:02:17   congradulations on getting in. By the way, if you think the math dept is cold youd better bring a sweater to the climb room, because it is where the air starts in the building or something like that. Oh and they use to teach Pascal in ecs10, now they teach something else, maybe python. —MattHh

2007-07-31 01:35:52   No, unfortunately I didn't recognize any of the other names. Oh and ECS 10 is now Python, two of my friends took that course (a third did as well back when they taught Pascal) —TusharRawat

2007-09-22 17:53:07   I like the bolding on the classroom etiquette page — it definitely makes it more readable. —CovertProfessor

2007-09-26 12:50:33   Wouldn't the entries be better presented by "what are they" being first? If I wrote that the Association of Unified Engineers are part of the National Engineering Society, you have to get past the first paragraph before you even know if you're talking about professional Engineers in Yolo County or a UC Davis administrative grant department or a K-6 group devoted to encouraging math in elementary schools. Some of the entries are still vague as to what they do. It might be a good idea to make a strong leading sentence that says what they are such that you could stop a random person on the street and they would understand the context. I would try, but I fear I'd have to guess to much at what they do and who comprises their membership/targets. From your editing, I'd guess that you know enough about them to say what they do and who makes up their membership. —JabberWokky

2007-09-26 12:53:36   (And I ask because I'd guess they are doing neat things that benefit the community, but I'm not sure what. Mentoring starting at 8th and 9th grade to who? Davis locals? Yolo? California? I get the vague idea these are active groups that are accomplishing neat things, and it would be cool to have them written up here on the wiki so that somebody unfamiliar with UC Davis groups could read about them... say, for instance, a parent with a kid in 8th grade who is looking for support. —JabberWokky

2007-10-02 08:11:17   The directions you added to the Big Lots page were to the westsac store, but the address on the page was for woodlandWoodland. Maybe you could make the westsacBig Lots page, and/or move the page here to the woodland wiki. Thanks! —NickSchmalenberger

2007-10-08 09:23:42   yr welcome about the bike help. hope your plant survives... —PxlAted
