Before... ... and after

Tom Garberson has lived in Davis since 2002, getting a degree in Sociology (it was a BA, but Soc is all about the BS) and a J.D. from King Hall. He was an associate criminal defense attorney with Blackmon & Associates and loved the work and the people. He met his wife, Bekka, through Integrated Studies in 2004, and they got married in 2009. They have an obnoxiously cute cat named Robin.

Wings	Sudwerk in town, Pyramid Alehouse if you're willing to go to Sac.
Pizza	Lamppost Pizza generally; Steve's Pizza has the best veggie pizzas, and the BBQ Bird at Woodstock's is amazing.
Chinese	Shanghai Town - new favorite! Hunan and The Dumpling House are also great.
Mexican	Taqueria Davis is by far my favorite. Dos Coyotes is a quick, easy, and fairly cheap alternative. Zocalo has great upscale Mexican in midtown Sac.
Sushi	Zen Toro for pure quality; Sushi Unlimited for a good blend of quality and value. Skip the buffets.
Thai	Thai Canteen has the best curries. Sophia's has amazing fish dishes.
Grocery	Nugget. No contest.
Produce	Yolo Fruit Stand and Pedrick Produce are a toss-up. Farmer's Market is overpriced and Ikedas just can't compare.
Drinks	The Davis Beer Shoppe! The Grad and Paesanos are good too.
Frozen Yogurt	Yolo Berry is hard to beat, although Cultive is pretty darned good.

You should be aware that I called and left a message on the number for Boardwalk Apartments - since I have no other means of contacting you - to try to put a stop to this. I was extremely tolerant the first time around when Michael made his accusations, and when you followed up by doing the same. I am through being tolerant.

If you continue with this course of conduct I am prepared to take legal action. Your conduct constitutes libel under sections 45 and 45(a) of the Civil Code and is grounds for an injunction under section 527.6 of the Code of Civil Procedure. Neither of us wants the hassle of legal action, and the consequences for you would not be pleasant. It's time for you to stop. —TomGarberson

I was on my iPhone when I posted that comment, and in Roseville at the time. Which is the exact reason why I posted that comment about the shop in Roseville with better deals then the one here in Davis. I thought that's what the comment section was for..did I do something wrong? —MoeHirani

2012-05-05 09:58:23   I am also a fan of the sockpuppet and its goofy charm. In this case, however, 2/3 of the comments the user made were negative, and 1/3 was positive, so sockpuppet didn't seem as appropriate as it would if all were positive. —LoriOrf
