William as a contemplative pirate.
William Lewis does not sleep. Ever. Allegedly.
William is an undergrad EE major. He likes bicycles and can often be found wrenching at the Bike Church. He's a bit of an information junkie who can't stand it when people screw up articles on the wiki to promote their own interests (e.g. all of Steve Ostrowski's edits, Paul Petrovich). He at one time lived with wikignome DavidPoole and ubertrollpolitical provocateur BrentLaabs. He now lives with network guru NickSchmalenberger. When he's not studying or wrenching, he might actually be making money by doing stuff at Mediaworks in their video group.
He is an officer-at-large in Psi Phi, the fraternity of the future. He also "started" the Society of Wiki Historical Researchers.
You might want to watch your step around him, or else he might just
steal your accordion.

WilliamLewis wishes he were a sockpuppet so he had a better reason to use this totally awesome icon. He may possibly be a meat puppet for BrentLaabs or DavidPoole, but these are mostly rumors. |

This may or may not be an ambiguation page. Someone, somewhere, hoped you might feel more or less ambiguated. | |
| Questionable Relevance — This entry does not have to do with Steve Ostrowski, ASUCD, or the Davis Wiki itself but rather with the real Davis, and thus does not belong on this wiki. Please bitch about it on the talk entry. |

2009-01-17 14:03:33 BTW, does the 1923 map happen to say the name of the road that formerly crossed the Arboretum/Putah-Creek on the "Old Bridge"? —TheAmazingLarry
2009-02-10 12:39:50 Not being around in 2001, I obviously don't have access to any of this research or records of the events. Could you please let me know where it is that you found any of this information, at this point the page is little more than someone giving claims that are unsubstantiated by any actual links and/or proof of any other kind. —EliYani

The bulk of it seemed to be factually true; the problem is there's a definite bias and tone to it that's difficult to judge, and a lot of little side comments/claims. Random googling led me to information about their campaign and accusations of cheating in the election, the "legal" snaffoo, Bill Maher's show being taped, etc. But I didn't see the rumors according to janitorial staff, and other things mentioned. That doesn't mean it's not neccessarily true, but that is all part of the reason why I assume James deleted it, and the same reason I brought it back (but as a comment).-ES
2009-02-10 21:28:22 Thanks, the timeline is more reassuring that the facts are in fact true. I just had problems with reading a story from an anonymous source and taking it seriously. I'll just try to rework it as a more objective article. —EliYani
2009-02-11 21:57:04 William - Thank you so much for your helpful comments! And for the welcome to DavisWiki :) —Raechel
2009-02-12 12:06:11 There's been a precedent over the last few years to strike out a portion of the comment if it stands out overly offensive. I would agree that it should be noted somehow though. "Blah blah blah [[text removed]]-Sig". An all or nothing approach isn't what usually has been done, even if that's what you're trying to do now. —EdWins
