I am Moises Park, a 6th year PhD student in Spanish Literature. My parents are Korean but I grew up in Chile (and Brazil (and Bolivia)). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the
University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Spanish Literature major and a Bio minor (with emphasis in psych). I did my pre-med in Michigan but decided to pursue a PhD in Spanish Literature and Critical Theory at UC Davis. I study contemporary Southern Cone (Chile/Argentina/Uruguay/Peru) literature and post-authoritarian cultures with an emphasis in Critical Theory and a focus on films and cultural studies.
