2008-06-18 21:36:40 I'd argue they're both wrong... it does exist. It's still a school site with the same name; it's history is being altered and it's no longer active. It needs a different label. —WesHardaker

Eh? What or who are both wrong? The label? I tried to make that include as inclusive as humanly possible to be a general "when people talk about this, they mean the old one that ain't no more". —jw

2008-06-19 12:23:38 "The subject of this entry no longer exists in Davis". That's not true (it does exist). "or is a former version"... Ok, that's probably true but it should be changed not left in it's current form (IMHO).
A better tag would be something that states that due to recent events the page is no longer accurate and it needs to be cleaned. As is it looks more like the departed one and has no need to be edited because it no longer is a good page for the current time period (which is what I think is untrue in this case; the content just needs to change). I don't think I'm stating this well though. —WesHardaker

Does Valley Oak Elementary School have a future? Will there be non historical note edits to this entry? Maybe I am just missing information regarding this particular subject. For instance, when a business closes and a new one opens in the same building, they both have distinct entries. Presumably something will open here, possibly a school... but not Valley Oak. (Unless, as I say, I am mistaken... in which case the entry is misleading). —jw
