The Village Feast is an annual event held by Slow Food Yolo in Central Park every August.
This is Slow Food Yolo's signature event and is a fundraiser for Davis Farm to School Connection
http://www.davisfarmtoschool.org/index.html. The multi-course meal, a grand feast modeled on the village feasts of Provence, highlights the bountiful summer produce from our very own Yolo County. It is a really great tradition, honoring and savoring our local foods, while raising funds to help connect the next generation to their food and where their food comes from. Everyone brings their own plate, fork, knife and napkin, making the atmosphere feel informal - a gathering of neighbors. Local wine is poured all throughout the meal.
This year's Village Feast will be held August 22nd.
Tickets purchased in advance are required and are $65 per person, $55 for Slow Food Members. A limited number of student tickets are available for $40 - Please contact Talia at info@davisfarmtoschool.org if you are interested. All other tickets can be purchased through links to
