In my personal experience with her, she has misdiagnosed me as having 5 cavities, when I didn't actually have any (I presume for more money), and she was incapable of filling a cavity (she suggested a root canal after she started working on it) that another (trusted) dentist was able to take care of. Additionally, a housemate and a co-worker of mine have had money issues with her such that they ended up having to spend way more money than they should have. It appears as though she's out to get any and every penny from your pocket. I DO NOT recommend this dentist. —Sue
I also had a bad experience with this dentist. She is money hungry and will stop at nothign to take advantage of people especially students. She said I needed a Quad cleaning and it was going to cost over 900 dollars. I went to another denstist and got a second opinion and he said that I would not need one if my life depended on it. I was very angry and am now switching to someone more trustworth and reliable. I hope I do not have trouble getitng a duplicate of my files. FIND ANOTHER DENTIST —Elizabeth
2006-04-11 14:04:28 My experience was very similar to the first two. I was given x-rays and billed with out consenting to the procedure. I was diagnosed as having 11 cavities! Since I take care of my teeth and it had been only 6 months since my last check up, I refused. I got a second opinion from another dentist and didn't have ANY cavities. This was my first and last visit to Dr. Storm. I however have received numerous phone calls, "reminding" me to come in for a checkup. —SusanCameron
2006-05-24 11:04:28 I had the same experience as those above. I went to Dr. Storm as a freshman and she told me I had 5 cavities and 2 that were so deep I needed root canals. Being young and dumb I believed her, after her receptionist assured me my insurance would cover the fillings, I went into two agonizing sessions to get the 5 fillings; somehow the bill came in the mail for $1000 something and I ended up having to finance everything because it turns out I wasn't covered. I went to a specialist to get the first root canal, not a pleasant procedure if you've never had one, Because of my bad monetary experience with Dr. Storm I went to another dentist for my next cleaning, before I got my 2nd root canal, (this was years later since I could barely afford each procedure). He told me that the tooth that needed a 'root canal' didn't even have a cavity. There you have it. I believe I may have had one cavity when I entered Dr. Storm's office since I had a toothache, but I suspect she made me have four perfectly healthy teeth drilled and one healthy tooth killed and crowned to make some quick cash. And I do mean cash since her office led me to believe all the fillings were covered by insurance when they weren't. —HaggroAlex
