Volleys Tennis Shop was recently bought by a group of 7 local tennis players who will keep the store open with longer hours, check their website for new hours and monthly specials. Come on by and check out the newest Babolat GT racquets, strings, and grips!
Volleys Tennis Shop is conveniently located in downtown Davis near the intersection of 2nd and G streets on the same corner as Subway. If you are looking for quality tennis equipment, you will find it at Volleys. Need a racquet tuned up with new strings and grip? Take it to Volleys where you will get professional service and your racquet will be done by the next day or the same day for a small additional fee. Volleys offers a great selection of clothing, tennis shoes, and racquet bags, as well as a wide variety of accessories. Although we just carry tennis related items we do carry badminton and squash strings and can special order most other items. Need a new racquet? Volleys is well stocked with Wilson, Prince, Babolat, Dunlop, and Head tennis racquets and junior racquets too. Volleys also offers a great demo racquet program for your convenience. The demo racquet program requires a $25 deposit to try out our large assortment of racquets for 1 month. ($40 for 2 months) When you purchase your new racquet from Volleys you will receive your $25 demo deposit back and free labor on your restring.

2008-09-28 22:21:19 I love this store. They can meet all of your tennis needs. I recently dropped by for a new grip for my racket and some tennis balls. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. And they'll tell you about all the happenings in the world of tennis, including info on tournaments.

2009-06-02 17:33:18 I've been to Volleys a few time for restringing, and every time I have been there, the employees have been extremely friendly and helpful. Though it is a tennis shop, they restring racquetball and badmitton too (they only sell tennis strings, but you can bring in your own string). Overall, a great store. —E.Liu
